The Animal Crossing Wiki is a wiki which was created by Yoshario. As its title suggests, the wiki is a wiki about the popular Animal Crossing series of video games.
History
The Animal Crossing Wiki began when Yoshario decided to make a wiki about Animal Crossing that wasn't on Wikia, because in his opinion, Wikia didn't have the groovy features a self-hosted wiki had. He then set up a wiki on his computer with this thing called WAMP installed. Then he got pretty ticked off, because a wiki had no purpose if it was offline. So then he found this badass host that would let him install his wiki on. Since Yoshario was a noob at the time, he didn't know how to do PhpMyAdmin exports and all that funky crap, so he just made a fresh install. After that, Glaive found it, so he started making all of these snazzy edits, but then for some strange and peculiar reason his IP supposedly got blocked by Wikkii's firewall. So Glaive asked Shroobario to host an ACwiki on his site. So the ACwiki moved there temporarily, but that host wasn't as good as Wikkii because there was no FTP access, and FTP access is what makes self-hosted wikis badass. So he decided to move it to N-boards, his own site, but decided Wikkii was groovier so he moved it back there. Yoshario queried RedFire Mario about the wiki and he instantly became an active contributor. DHS became a chatroom regular on the ACwiki chat channel. Eventually RedFire Mario stopped contributing, but is still active on the chat channel. Super Mario Bros. later found the wiki and started contributing. The wiki is now moderately active.
