Operator

Operators, or ops enforce the rules in the chatroom. Most of the sysops are ops, with the notable exceptions of Ghost Jam and Wayoshi, but there are a few other ops, which have come to be known as "back-up ops", even though they are not only opped when there is no one else around as well.
Operators have the power to kick, and even ban a user for unruly behavior. Operators can also change the mode of the room, and do numerous other things with ChanServ. Each operator has their own take on the rules. For example, Jdrowlands is sensitive about users abusing CAPS LOCK, while others are fine with it.
Back-up Ops

Since Back-Up Ops are never really "official", they tend to change all the time, and several back-up ops have been made for reasons some find stupid, and they end up not even getting to use their powers once. Below is a list of all the users who are or have been back-up ops at one point.
- Sadaharu and Pokemon DP are promoted by Porplemontage at Sadaharu's request
- Sadaharu is demoted by Porplemontage, after he retired.
- Blitzwing - Promoted by Pokemon DP.
- Uniju and Plumber are promoted by Pokemon DP, Plumber becomes a patroller shortly after.
- Luigibros2 - Promoted by Pokemon DP.
- LuigiBros2 is demoted by Pokemon DP, as he lied to get op power.
- Plumber is demoted by Porplemontage after persuasion from Pokemon DP.
- Uniju is demoted by Pokemon DP.
- ChaosNinji - Promoted by Pokemon DP to replace Uniju.
- Girrrtacos - Promoted by Ghost Jam.
- Purple Yoshi - Promoted by Ghost Jam.
- Both Purple Yoshi and Girrrtacos are demoted, as Ghost Jam had only made them back-ups to mock Pokemon DP.
- Blitzwing resigns.
- Uniju is repromoted by Porplemontage.
- Girrrtacos and Shroobario are promoted by Porplemontage.
- Uniju is demoted by Porplemontage.
- Toadbert101 - Promoted by Porplemontage.
- Uniju is promoted by Porplemontage
- Uniju is demoted yet again
- Snack - Promoted by Blitzwing.
- Girrrtacos - Demoted by Porplemontage.
- Shroobario - Demoted by Porplemontage.
- Super-Yoshi - Promoted by Pokemon DP
- Pokemon DP is demoted after resignation as a sysop. Super-Yoshi is demoted as well for some reason.

This left the Chatroom with only nine back-up ops: TehDman, Jorge, Girrrtacos, SonicMario ,DarkHero Sonic the Dark, Uniju, Turboo, Super-Yoshi, and Toadbert101.
Since that time, the #mariowiki channel has been given to Uniju. The only other operator is Necromorph (level 150). Super-Yoshi, Turboo, and Toadbert101 are also on the access list at level 1.
