Sysop

System Operators (also known as sysops, administrators, and admins) are users with special administrative powers, that enable them to do incredible things. Sysops are generally portrayed as a step-up from normal Users; they are considered more powerful than Patrollers and Bureaucrats though Bureaucrats usually also have the sysop ranking.
In Legend of the Infinite Empire, Sysops are the only ones that can stop the Prince of Darkness, each one containing a special power. In the Super Mario Wiki video game, each playable character can be leveled up into a sysop except for Porplemontage (already a sysop) and Peachycakes (only playable on the last level of the game, and it takes many levels to make a character a sysop).
Even though the amount of current MarioWiki Sysops is large, there are still several nominations. While most Sysops believe "There are enough Sysops as it is", others, like Pokemon DP, believe there can never be enough Sysops, since the Wiki needs all the security and help it can get.
