Lario is a retired user of the Mario Wiki (He is also known as The Writing Guy, Mr. Guy, and The Guy). He joined on April 8, 2007. Currently he is retired yet he mainly resides on the Forums. At UnMario, he was considered to be the leader there after Paper Jorge left.

Lario on the SMW and related sites
Early Times
At first on the Wiki Lario was rather incompetent, but as time went on he started to get better at editing with 2446 edits done by his original account alone. He also became a member of UnMario Wiki and eventually became a sysop after the place was mostly deserted.
The Battle for Userpedia Wikia
Mr. Guy acted in this event defending Mr. Yellow and asking for a truce between him and S-Y. However, until February 6th, 2009, there was no truce.
The Final Affairs with UnMario
Lario claimed retirement after leading UnMario for two years. However, he was too active too actually be retired, anyway. After regaining control of UnMario Wiki with the help of several users and Sonic Rocks Mr. Guy decided to stay. Before he retired he only deleted and protected articles as well as discuss issues on there. Currently, Mr. Guy is finally retired although an edit is made by him on UnMario every few weeks.

Now, Lario is an active poster on the SMW Forum with over seven thousand posts in all forums.

Reputation
Lario has a generally negative reputation on the Forum because of his views and interest of Internet memes. However, negative responses won't put him down. On UnMario Wiki he is respected yet some former users don't like him since he deleted their articles while a few members were chased out of the Wiki by himself.
